Akagera National Park in Rwanda offers both day and night game drives, providing opportunities to spot a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five (Lion, Buffaloes, Elephant, Leopard and Hippopotamus). Morning game drives are popular and offer good chances to see grazers active including Zebras, giraffes, olive baboons, vervet monkeys, blue monkeys, Bushbucks, Topis, Oribis, waterbuck, roan antelope, duiker, impala, Cape eland and more than 500 bird’s species including the shoe-billed stork, lilac-breasted roller, and various other water birds.

Night game drives, conducted in 4×4 vehicles, are a unique way to see nocturnal animals like leopards, hyenas, and bush babies.
